A conventional septic tank system comprises of a septic tank and a percolation area. The septic tank
functions as a holding tank whereby the solids settle to the bottom and the liquid flows into the percolation
area, where the water is purified. Liquid is introduced and discharged by gravity. Where site conditions do not
allow gravity discharge, a pumped system is available.
Optional Extras:
Manhole Riser
Manhole Risers are used to extend the height of the manhole to ground level, should there be a need for deeper
installation of the tri-cel. They are available in 250mm, 500mm and 750mm increments.
Distribution Box
Distribution boxes are used the divide the flow of liquid into the percolation trenches. We supply a 7-hole
distribution box, which may be blocked off with caps if you wish to reduce the number of flows into the percolation area.
